Summary:
I like this trail because it is short and sweet and you can do it if you don't want to devout all day to a ride. I would recommend this to any cross country rider who lives in gilroy or is around for the molment. I would not recomend this for an all day ride because there is not enough trail.
In the begining its a hard climb on pavement followed by a lot of loose dirt (depending on the time of year) After that, the dirt hardens out and you can get some speed even though your going uphill. After the initial clime you get some pay off but watch out at the bottom. Depending on the time of year you can get all mucked up from the acumulation of water! Be careful with you shifting comming down hill. If you get too high, you won't be able to shift fast enough to start the steep climb at the bottom.

Recommended Route:
At the end of the ballpark go up & around the fence. Then ride behind the hayfield. Theres many different options from there. I like to follow the main trail till you come down a big slope and theres a steep hill and turn at the end of it. then you do a big clim not taking any switchbacks and at the end you get some prety good down hill in thats not too difficult.

Summary:
Stooopid little kiddie park in Garlic town. Why is this here?

Recommended Route:
None, this is a damn jogging path, about as exciting for bikes as riding downtown.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Take the 3.5 hour drive to Chico and hit Bidwell Park, just be ready to be sore!
