Weekend Warrior Summary: Went out with some friends this Saturday to see if the trail still existed. No one that I spoke with knew anything about it. Locating the trailhead took a bit of searching as I think the area has built up since the original review. Climbed up the stairs to start the ride and discovered several downed trees crossing them as well as the fact that they were completely submerged in muddy clay. The trail at the top of the ridgeline was almost completely overgrown with bamboo and consisted of moss covered slickrock interspersed with clay mud. After about 2 miles we finally gave up and just headed back to the car. Recommended Route: None from this trailhead. There is probably a better way to get into the trails now, but we couldn't find much that was rideable anymore. Other recommended trails in the same area: Fujimi Panorama, Lake Saiko, Kamiseya.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Mostly single track that can be ridden in both direction until you pass the orchards then it's all downhill. It's good for all skill levels though I advise you to ride with somebody ho know the area your first few times because it's easy to get lost. As a warning to all the cell phone reception is pretty poor in the hills so you can't stream live video to other people as proof. And cell phone GPS fixes won't be exact. Recommended Route: Follow the route listed above and once you get out use your phones GPS to get back to base. Other recommended trails in the same area: Fuji Bike Park, Any hiking trial the doesn't have a no bikes alowed sign posted.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Great trail for novice through expert riders. The trail winds it's way through a heavily wooded area behind the Ikego Navy Housing area. The trail is predominantly under the shade of trees for about 90% of it's length. The terrain is very hilly, with some short technical climbs and descents. Several of the local Japanese bike shops bring all skill levels of riders here.
This trail offers great scenery, and an incredible mix of terrain, from gentle hiking paths, heavily rooted sections, mud, rock, slick hard packed clay, and some intense downhill dry riverbeds at the very end.
Be mindful of hikers, especially on the weekends! Recommended Route: At the top of the stairs go left. (The right fork ends after a few hundred yards). Follow the trail for several miles till you come to the orchard.
Follow the trail around the bowl of the orchard. Either climb the steep stairs leading up towards the electrical tower, or follow the trail 50 yards to the left and try your skill at riding up this hill. Both routes lead to the same spot. A picnic area lies to the left and the trail continues down to right. You will come to a fork in the trail. If you continue straight (right) it will lead down into more woods, and ultimately to the "creek beds" for some mild to wild Down Hill. To the left leads down and out to the public roads.
Heading (right) towards the "creek beds" you will come to a few forks in the trail. Take a right at the first fork. You should pass a temple that is dow and to your right. After a tricky, heavily ruted section of slick clay you will exit a small chute and be at a fork. Stay to the left continuing down. At the bottom of a short and twisting rocky section you will be at another intersection.
Turn almost 180 degrees to the left and follow this path to the intersections of the "creek bed".

Weekend Warrior Summary: A bit up and down at first until you get to the orchard, then its all downhill. Stick to the recommended route above, there are other routes, but they become unrideable as in way too steep. Recommended Route: See original route. And remember to watch out for hikers and other bikers.
