Strengths:    weight to price ratio was good. also it looked decently built, with the spokes being butted at the rim

Weaknesses:    did not stay true long, despite reasonable LBS job. Still does not stay true long despite regular truing by me. The biggest problem is that the rear hub crapped out, most probably the bearing, and this after one or two bunny hops attempts on a larger log

    Bottom Line:
OK for the money but not great

Strengths:    Light as Mavic Crossrides, strong as $hit, smooth hub action, look smooth

    Weaknesses:    WTB skewers suck

    Bottom Line:
Great Wheelset, I am so upset that my bike was stolen last week, these wheels are beautiful, I actually had the Speed XC models, but they are exactly the same. I also only paid 90 bucks, which is awesome. These wheels are amazing though, great hub action, all you have to do is ditch the WTB skewers, they suck the big one.

Won't stay tuned, yet appears undamaged due to any crashes or the like. This is a 8 speed cassette. I have Deore XTs on my other 2 bikes & they have served us well. Ho ... Read More »
