Strength:

Fantastic wheels that have held up for me when I've raced all-mountain, XC and Super D courses. I've ridden these wheels on constant >2 foot drop offs and rock gardens and these wheels do not get out of any noticeable true. And I've used these wheels to do street and observed trials without issue.

If you are on a budget and want a dependable wheelset, this is the way to go. The rim braking surfaces hold up well after several long descends and in muddy conditions also. I've purchased these wheelsets for 3 of 6 of my mountain bikes because they're the best value for almost all riding situations.

These wheels have handled great on the local mtb trail. They are a bit heavy, but extremely solid. The hubs are the bottom of the barrel Shimano hubs, but they are straightforward to maintain. Overall a good deal.

Strength:

Stiff, cheap

Weakness:

Kind of heavy for 24 spokes. Come with lame/heavy Shimano skewers.

Not sure if I have the Comp or Pro version. They have Shimano hubs and are NOT compatible with disc brakes.

GREAT wheelset for the money. Much stiffer than expected considering the low spoke count. Might be a little on the heavy side, but it's a fair trade for the stength. Kind of surprised how they improved the ride of my bike which had some fairly light/whippy wheels before.

They do everything a cross-country wheelset should do.
