Strengths: XTR Hubs; Lightweight; fantastic dealWeaknesses: Some FlexBottom Line: So far (2 mos/200 miles) these appear to be holding up well. I checked them yesterday to see if they were true and can't find a single wobble. The wheels are extremely light but seem to be able to handle my 180 lbs without a problem. The only downside is that there is some flex compared to my Mustang/XT's, however that is to be expected given the lightweight rims and 28 spokes.

Strengths: Ceramic braking surfaces, very stiff, relatively light, they are able to handle my 200lb body in the twisties with little to no flex.Weaknesses: None yet.Bottom Line: I got these wheels to replace my Spin wheelset that went horribly out of true only after a few months of XC riding. The Spins were heavy, and this Tomac wheelset is way lighter. The braking on the rims is superb, and the rims handle everything that my 200lb body can dish out. I have raced on these rims once, and I have another race coming and that will be a true test of these wheels stability and true...
