Strengths: Lighter than my old AM wheel set but much stronger. Tubeless set-up is really easy with Maxxis Minion DHF too.Weaknesses: NONEBottom Line: Bought these from Chain Reaction to replace my Pro2/DT 5.1 wheelset. Had a couple of discount vouchers so these cam in cheaper than the normal Pro2/Flow wheelset. Tubeless set-up was a piece of cake and holding pressure really well. Roll quickly and pick up speed really well.
Overall a great wheelset..

Strengths: Light, great discs, stiff, excellent hubs.Weaknesses: After 3½ months broke a spoke in front wheel.
3 days later a spoke in rear wheel broke.
Spokes are DT SWISS COMPETITION straight.
Stans rims ZTR Flow do not hold air with the UST specific rimstrips from Stan (20$), but are OK with Bontrager rim strips (1$).
Wheels are made in Hope factory and Hope have not yet bothered answering my mail after 4 days.Bottom Line: Who should buy the wheels / not buy the wheels.
I do not know.
I am looking for perfect wheels, but maybe they are not made. Maybe I'll just take the hubs and buy other rims and use Sapim CX-ray spokes.
The hubs are the best part of these wheels.
Duration Product Used: 3 months
Price Paid:
$630.00
Purchased At: ChainReactionCycles.
Similar Products Used: Hope Pro2 hubs. Now 4 years and still perfect. They have taken a lot of abuse, where the Pro3 have not yet been out on rugged trails.
DT-SWISS 1800. OK but too narrow to have wider than 2.0 tyres on them.
Mavic 321. OK, but a bit heavy.
Bike Setup: Ibis Mojo, Formula R1, Sram-XO, Speedplay Frogs, SMP Evolution, Goodyear UST.
