Strengths: Since I ride a hardtale and I bent the crap out of my stock rear weel, I had to buy something ruggid and this weel set up is the right choice all day long!!!Weaknesses: A little heavy, but its worth it because it will last and can be trued forever.Bottom Line: This rear weel set up is great! The price for the weel is also a bonus! If you have a hard tale and your looking for a weel that can take any beating you can dish out and still come back for another rooty DH buy this one!

Strengths: Strengths? What isn't strong on this wheel is the better question - this is the omega of wheels.Weaknesses: Ummm, yeah, no... they don't exist. Some might complain about weight, but you don't purchase a 48 spoke wheel when you're gram counting.Bottom Line: Factory true, then the two week check up, then forget about it... Two years of gut-wrenching on this 48 spoke monster without a scratch. It is a beast. This is the only NO HASSLE product I have ever purchased in the biking industry minus my frame.

Strengths: TOUGH AS HELL! if you want (possibly) the toughest set of wheels around, get a set of these! on my second set of these wheels (only as the last set went with the old bike) and they are the best I've ever ridden. cost less for whole wheelset than most decent hubs do on their own.
You will not be disappointed with these, they laugh at 10 step drops onto flat concrete, and beg for more on the sickest of DH/North Shore. they are heavy, but will last forever without so much as a thought about having to get your spoke key! hubs run smooth and still didnt need trueing after a week at Whistler Bike Park on my old kona stinky!Weaknesses: heavyish.Bottom Line: Good enough for Sam Pilgrim, and Robbie "Air" Bourdon, good enough for you!
...and they wont rape your wallet!

Strengths: Halo is one of the market leading UK brands of rim & wheel products. The SaS wheels are such a great freeride/downhill wheel set. My rear is a 48 spoke wheel and takes what ever i up it through. The front has both 100mm Q/R and 20x110mm thru-axle compatible which is really easy to switch. I can ride over anything without any dings or dents. Very strong. Hubs are very nice with sealed bearing. Very cool colors for the rims.Weaknesses: The wheels are a little heavy.Bottom Line: The wheels are the best I have ridden in a long time. Get these wheels if you are looking for a not to expensive wheel set. They really make your bike look cool with all the different colors. I don't think i will ever buy rims or wheels from a different company then Halo.

Strengths: BURLY setup. This is a wheelset for huckers and downhillers. Will take anything you dish out to it. Well made VERY solid wheels. Excellent company to work with. I don't worry about this wheelset when doing DH or Freeride. I think it would be EXTREMELY difficult to hurt these things.
Pretty simple to change from 20mm through axle to QRWeaknesses: VERY HEAVY.
Wheels with DH tubes and Maxxis Minions weigh 13 lbs!!!
The front hub uses a stack of adapters, cones and a tube to space out the bearings. The adapters don't press into the hub, and are relativly loose so you need to keep your eye on them. Also, Halo does not provide a diagram on how these spacers are supposed to go together.Bottom Line: An excellent wheel for huckers and downhillers.
Very much a bombproof part.
I had an issue with the hub grinding up the internals because the spacers and adapters weren't installed properly. However, Halo shipped me a replacement hub without those pesky spacers and it's all good now.
My only real gripe with the wheels was the wonky spacers and lack of a diagram.
If you're looking for a wheelset that you won't have to worry about get these!
