Strengths:    Wheels are built like a tank...
Love the sound...

Weaknesses:    A bit heavy but who cares

Bottom Line:
Great wheelset for me I tend to be abusive with my bikes, not that I am any good I just tend to crash a lot and bang into things! This wheelset has held up to everything and has managed to stay true. They are a bit heavy but weight doesn't matter much to me in South Florida not much to climb. My wheelset is Black/Gold and the look suits my bike well. The price is what sold me I was on a budget build and that's why I got them! For the price I highly recommend them!

Ive recently gone from shorter stems back to 70mm on my bikes. I was wondering if you recommend a strong but relatively light stem - no carbon im to clumbsy! I'm currently using an AKA Truvativ 70mm - the 110mm version weights 170g so im estimating its weight at around 150g? So far considering t ... Read More »

Stan's Arch ($505) vs. Light Bicycle Carbon ($564)?

I need some advice; I ride XC and AM, with a little jumping I weigh 175 lbs, and ride an XL frame. I am looking to replace the heavy WTB i23 (2,200g) on my Santa Cruz 5010 (27.5"). I can get a Stan's Arch EX w a BHS 180 hub and 270 hub wheelset (~1650g) professionally and locally built for $505 ... Read More »

Best Light and All Mountain to Downhill Ready Crankset with 24mm Spindle

I was all set to grab the new SixC cranks, but they only come in 30mm spindles and there are no ceramic bottom brackets for a BB92 frame that I can find for those. The bottom bracket I want is the Enduro XD - 15, thus would want a comparable crankset to the SixC with a 24mm spindle. Any recommendat ... Read More »
