from New Zealand Date Reviewed: July 2, 2011 Strengths: These wheels came with a demo bike purchased at Golden Cycles in Littleton. Liked the look of the wheels are they preformed really well. I am 6'3" and 200 pounds so need a strong rim and these were going well until..... Weaknesses: the rear hub and free-wheel hub failed. Something that I would not expect after only 6 months of riding 2 times a week. Tried to sort it out with Golden Bike Shop who blamed Fulcrum. They couldn't even get spare parts. Same story from New Zealand Fulcrum distributor. So I ditched the wheel set and purchased Stans ZTR Arches and they are awesome! Duration Product Used: 3 months Price Paid: $800.00 Purchased At: Wiggle Similar Products Used: 1st 29er wheels but Mavic and others in 26" Bike Setup: Lynskey Ridgeline 29er set up as a rigid single speed. Nuke Proof Carbon Forks, XT brakes, e13 Cranks and B/Bracket, Racing Ralphs fitted with tubes.
