Strengths: rolls fast and quiet. mount them and forget them
Weaknesses: none that i've noticed
these wheels are on my training and play bike. Used on xc trails in Mi. rocks, roots, short tech climbs. have not needed truing yet. the 340hub seems bullet proof. pobably not the lightest wheelset, but the whole bike wieghed firstname.lastname@example.org when build was finished. and the these wheels have been trouble free.

I have a 2008 Rockhopper disc and just bent the rear rim to the point where it will not true. I can get a dt swiss 340 xc rear wheel at the LBS. Is this an up grade from the stock Alexis rim that is on the bike? Just looking for info. Thanks.Read More »
