Strengths: Pretty?Weaknesses: Wheels wouldnt stay true, and after 30 day broke on the weld. Company refused to replace the wheel saying the photo the bike shop sent indicated they could have been crashed? Never heard back from company, my dealer tried selling me another pair?Bottom Line: Both my front and rear wheel were defective neither lasted 30 days. Visit the DT blog turns out its a frequent issue.

Strengths: Strong Rim and SpokesWeaknesses: Horrible freehub and as it turns out bad service. Nice on phone but sent wheels back after repair in same state of grindy as I sent them.Bottom Line: These hubs are garbage. The rubber seal on freehub body is the problem. I sent wheel back to DT, waited 2 weeks and got a gindy wheel back. Are you kidding me?! They could have called and asked if I would pay for some work. I will never buy a DT product ever again. I was interested in 240 hubs, but no way. The one chili ratings are because you can't use the spokes or rim if the hub isnt working right.

Strengths: Light, rolls forever, THE hubs, quiet (and fast) engagement, Durable AND available spares.Weaknesses: ?
not as bling as others?Bottom Line: Bought these when moving to disks from V brakes. did not want to gain much weight& much money spent, so scorched the net.
Found these but was suspicious as they were fairly cheap for the components.
Than found out these are built by DT swiss usa, and that the price was due to the model - mine were last years model with the 4.1D rims (current 340 XC wheelset use the 4.2D).
After consulting DT in the states, i gladly bought these.
The wheels came true with no wobbles, strait as can be, and they seem to spin forever..
spoke tension was even and overall impression was very good.
I ride aggressive XC and weigh ~78 kg. do a lot of climbing (and descending).
Out riding it feels (much) stiffer than anything else i have ridden, making steering more precise BUT as they are light (a little below 1700 gr for the my centerlock version), they are fast to accelerate.
hubs are smooth, and after about a year of hard work - wheels are true as they came in.
highly recommended (surely for $350...).
look for these in ebay , they still come around $350 new (bought mine from ediscountbike).

Strengths: LIGHT, STRONG, STAYS TRUE EVEN WITH 200LBS RIDERWeaknesses: NONE FOUNDBottom Line: UNLIKE THE RIM BRAKE MODELS, THE SPLINE DISC BRAKE VERSION, REALLY IS A NICE SETUP.
MUCH LIGHTER THEN MANY XC WHEEL SETS, BUT SEEMS AS STRONG AS ANY MAVIC I HAVE USED (4 DIFFERENT MODELS). VERY NICELY BUILT UP, GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL, VERY GOOD HARDWARE!
I BOUGHT THESE USED HERE, & WAS GOING TO USE THEM ONLY FOR XC RACING, BUT BLEWOUT MY ALMOST NEW XT REAR HUB ON MY NEW MAVICS HAVE BEEN USING THEM EVR SINCE. ~1 YEAR WITH NO PROBLEMS OR EXTRA TRUEING, JUST THE REAR HUB IS A LITTLE LOUD, NEEDS A LUBE JOB. HEY I WEIGH ~200 & RIDE A COUPLE TIMES A WEEK FOR HOURS, ON SOME NASTY LONG UPHILLS & FAST LONG DESENTS & THESE RIMS ARE WORKING WELL!! VERY HIGH QUALITY RIMS.
