Strengths: Super strong rim and spoke set up. Eeeeasy to service and maintain. Cheep parts. 7,8,9 speed cassette.

Built a jump bike with these for my son who then frightened me to death with his no fear aims.
The Dee Vee comps really are made to be landed on from a hight when dirt jumping. The free hubs will have to take a bashing in this game though, but fortunately they are remarkably cheap to buy and easy to to replace and I think this has been well thought about to keep its price and running costs approachable.
