Strengths:    Stay true with minimal maintenance. Customer Service! A+

Weaknesses:    None yet!

Bottom Line:
I am using these for Cyclocross along with a rear aero head and both work great. The CX around here is in grassy fields where you can see the bumps and holes ahead. These wheels so far has taken it all and stayed true. Customer service not only takes care of you but they make you feel like you want to call back just to chat.

If I can get a hold of some CC-Carbons I may be giving a review on them! Thanks CC!!

Always true

Extension Valve

Bottom Line:
They had to back order this for me last december I have not had to true it once, though because it is hard to keep air in it I have dented the brake track of the rim 2 times and bend the track back into shape. The valve extension is needed to pump up the tube though because of the tall rim. I figured know to use the extension to pump up the tire, and take it off when I am done screw down the valve, and then put the extension back on (so as not to loose it). Even after denting the rim though it is still perfectly true. My first wheel would always loose its true very fast and it was not fun dealing with that. It would also be nice if Cane Creek made a ceramic matrix rim and maybe even a tubeless system.

Riding in vicinity of Deep Creek Lake

Hi folks, Going to Deep Creek Lake (DCL) at the beginning of August. Looking for good mountain biking within an hour or so (even 2 hours for something great). Not looking in PA b/c I know that stuff and I've done most of it. Interested in everything from rippable (like Raystown) to rocky (like ... Read More »

Best sunglass lens color for deep woods

A lot of my riding takes place under the deep green canopy of trees that make up Georgia mountain biking. I started riding decades ago in Colorado and California where exposed trails and intense sunshine where the norm. Down here, it's completely different. The lighting ranges from intensely br ... Deep cut across front of knuckle??

I had an accident today which resulted in a deeeeeeep cut across my middle finger knuckle. (Through all the flesh). The doctor at my local A&E just put steri-strips on it, x rays are fine, but it is quite a lot more painful than any broken bone i've ever had, and straightening my finger is verrrry ... Read More »

Exploring the Deep South

I'm currently spending a couple months in Baton Rouge, LA for work. I brought a couple bikes with me and have been exploring the MTB scene in the deep south over the last couple weeks, and will continue to do so until mid-May when I head home. I've been doing a series of ride reports over on my ... Read More »

How deep are the cups on your 44 External lower headset cup?

As the thread title asks, how deep does your headset go into your 44mm ID headtube, or how deep is your 44 HT reamed? Ask as I have a Giant Trance '05 and wanted to run a tapered steerer fork on it, however it's only reamed to 10mm and the cup I got has an insertion dept of 15mm. Wondering if they n ... Read More »
