Strengths: They look great, setup tubeless very easy, and seem to be pretty stiff (keep in mind I only weigh 145lbs).Weaknesses: Heavy once you put the rim strips in, sluggish acceleration, expensive, engagement is so-so.Bottom Line: If these wheels come on your bike, I would just keep them (unless your racing at a top level), but I would not recommend buying them if your paying full price.
Bontrager really needs to look into some sort of setup that doesn't use the heavy rim strips (Stan's BST or UST). Switching over to one of these systems would make the wheels lighter, also making them accelerate faster, leaving only two negatives (expensive and engagement).

Strengths: Very trick wheel in appearance, light weightWeaknesses: Unfortunately, very fragile. I've only got 300 miles on the wheelset and the front wheel is cracked (sent back to Bontrager to warranty) and the rear wheel has broken 3 spokes in the last month. At this rate I'll be replacing spokes after every ride.Bottom Line: I'm really unsure about whether to keep these wheels and hope for better results, or just to pull the plug and sell them now to go back to the Mavic SLR that I know and love. The Bontrager came with my Top Fuel and I was wondering at the time if the carbon wheel could withstand a strong racer that throws down a lot of torque (and weighs 195 lbs...). So far the answer is no. I love the wheels when they work, but gas is expensive and I'm spending most of my gas money going back to the bike shop for repairs.
