The upgrade to scandium rims minimizes rotational weight while maximizing strength and durability. Combined with a 28mm wide rim profile, trail rated 3-pawl, 24-tooth drive mechanism and TubeLess Ready (TLR) kit, the Rhythm Pro wheels offer everything a discerning trail riders demands for long days on the bike.
Strengths: Wide, strong, and decently light weight.
Weaknesses: none so far
Bottom Line:
I picked up a set cheap at swap meet and have been very happy with them. Love the way they look and how strong they are for the weight. I used them for XC and a little all mountain. A family member has them on his Trek fuel ex8 and has not had any problems in 3 years besides a little truing after the first year. Other than that they are a very nice wheel set. The free hub has a loud buzz... not a big issue though.
