Strengths: Strong, stiff, reliable, have not had to touch a spoke for any reason since I purchased the wheelset. They look nice? Well look like for a cheap wheelsetWeaknesses: Price if you pay msrp... Rear wheel damaged my dropout on one side due to a poorly centered axle and threads on the axle. Not particularly light at about 2110 grams with out QRBottom Line: Suprised how well this wheelset has held up. Have not had to adjust a single spoke and I ride as aggressively as most other xc riders (I ride fast and hard but do not put my gear through any unneccessary punishment) and weigh 185. Great value at 150 dollars, I paid more for a Shimano Deore/ Sun Rims wheelset that was much heavier and required more maintainence. Freehub engagement is not the greatest but you cant expect anything spectacular at this price. These chilis are a bit misleading.. whenever I am looking at reviews I look at 3 as being somewhat bad.. but apparently 3 means good, so that is where is wheelset is at, good but not great or outstanding by any means. Get them if you are on a tight budget and dont pay more than 200.
