Strengths: These tires are lightweight by All-Mountain standards and are well suited to damp and/or softer less "Leafy" conditions. The narrow angular tread design makes it excellent for professionally maintained hardpack/ dirt single track. This tire doesn't suffer from the horrid rollover inherent with UST tires being run at a lower pressure such as 20-35 PSI.Weaknesses: Although this is a reliable and predictable tire, It simply isn't safe to be used in dry, rocky, and leaf laiden trails during autumn in New England. I nearly killed myself simply trying to correct a 1 degree turn going nearly 30 mph in an almost perfectly straight singletrack. I landed on my side, with my helmet about 1/4" away from a big friggin' rock.Bottom Line: I don't use this tire any more for riding unless it's during spring time. I like it, but I simply can't afford to crash like I did because of its picky characteristics. I bought it for $5 new, so 5 FC'S, 3 Overall because of the mediocre experience with it.

Strengths: Roll fast, light, and gripWeaknesses: Will probably wear out fastBottom Line: I was skeptical when I first got these tires. But after a week of riding them in dry, LOOSE conditions I am amazed.
They hook up just as well as the Weir wolfs, and Kenda Nevegals in the corners and roll much faster. But I would keep them narrowed to X-country riding and racing, they are narrow, and would not be suited for free riding. they also look like they will wear out fast, but I dunno yet. Anyways, a much better tire than I was expecting. Got a set of them on e-bay for 33.00, cant beat that!

Strengths: LightweightWeaknesses: sidewall tread is lame. wash out way too much, not grippy enough for colorado trails, wear too fastBottom Line: have replaced this tire with continental ust's, and found them to be about the same weight and way grippier than the mutano's. they seem to be okay for tacky trails, but dry dirt... they sucked for a whole summer.

Strengths: Rolls well, holds air, great traction in most conditions.Weaknesses: None yet, a tad heavyBottom Line: I run 32 lbs front and 34 lbs rear and have not had a flat. In am 210lbs and have ridden them in all conditions exept wet and muddy.
