Date Reviewed: December 27, 2007
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Strengths:True 2.4 width. Grip fantastic. UST Tubeless. Installs easily with hand pump. Good looking tread pattern and sidewalls.
Weaknesses:Heavy. Almost 1000 grams. Rolling resistance horrible.
Similar Products Used:Conti, Intense, Maxxis, Schwalbe
Bike Setup:Intense 5.5
Bottom Line:Loved the width. Had no problems installing on my UST rim. However, I hated the weight and rolling resistance. Ended up taking it off after only two rides because I problems riding up the hills that I normally would hardly break a sweat.

The bottom line is that these should be used at ski slopes or where you don't have to work so hard at going uphill.

Got these on sale, 2 for 1. These are being phased out by Specialized.

Favorite Trail:National @South Mountain
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $40.00
Strengths:This tire really sticks to the terrain that I ride most. Great for rock gardens and dry terrain.
Weaknesses:None that I have found. The price is high, but so is every other 2.4 tubeless tire.
Similar Products Used:Kenda Nevagal (2.1?)(HATED this tire)
Bike Setup:Santa Cruz Heckler, Minute 1, X0, 5th element shock, Hadley hubs, Mavic 823 & 819, Enduro pro 2bliss D2 2.4
Bottom Line:For the terrain, I have not tried a better tire. I liked the adrenaline pro, (now resolution pro, or something like that), but they didn't have the width that I wanted. Someone recommended these tires to me and I love them. I noticed a huge difference when climbing, as they are a lot heavier than the adrenaline 2.2s that I was using, but that would be the same for every 2.4 tire that you use.

If you like traction, ride in a dry & rocky climate, and don't mind the weight of a 2.4 tire, check out this tire. It is sweet.
