Lightweight, sheds mud well, great climbing traction, and predictable washout and overall handling.
When running tubeless with Stans at low pressure(27-32psi), sidewalls flex. That happens with any tire at low pressure though and is the penalty you suffer for having a light, tubeless tire. Six of one, a half dozen of another. Not sure I like that aspect of tubeless tires in general, as cornering feels floaty and washy, like you ride with a flat.
I have the new 2013 S-Works Fast Trak tires, which are not the old LK(Low Knob). Different pattern with a new tread sipe. Not sure if I like it as much as the old LK's to be honest. That was an awesome tire. Then again, I ran tubes with those and used much higher pressure(35-40lbs).
Not sure if I am a tubeless fan to be honest yet. I never got flats when I ran tubes, but with the new Crossmax ST's, they are a UST spec rim, not really meant to run tubed tires.
Love the traction of using lower pressure, but the tires wash and wander in corners due to low pressure. Almost feel like you are riding a flat, but they don't flat. Weird sensation.

Fast rolling and works well under low pressure
none if used for what it was designed for
Tires are great when run on hard pack with low pressure. I run mine at 35 pounds and I weigh 185. I don't run them tubeless. I'm not sold on the whole "tubeless" thing yet. It's not perfected. I have friends who always seem to have problems. I have others who luck out and have none. They still have to carry a spare tire tube with them for when they get flats, which seems a lot more often.
Okay, back to the subject. For hard pack fast rolling low pressure runs, these are great. Hit a sugar sand spot and I slide off the track. They stick very well on rock, roots and other hardened rough terrain. I don't ride in the mud (we don't have mud in South Florida) so I don't know how they'd perform.
Otherwise, I've done 3 races on my set and have been pumping out about 27 miles each saturday and sunday through coral rock and cypress roots and have nothing but confidence inspiring experience with them.
Unless I come across something else, I plan on buying another set when these wear out.

Very light, VERY fast rolling, great on hardpack, decent grip on anything less than seriously loose rock.
The sidewalls suck. Tubeless can be annoying, depending on the rim.
The bottom line is that this tire is great for racing, if you're racing on mostly hardpack, and definitely nothing with rock gardens at all. As a rear tire, it helped my Rumblefish scream up the trails... until the the tire pulled off the bead. No problem. It re-seated pretty fast, so I was able to pump it up on the trail. Sweet! 2 minutes later, the sidewall ripped. While I love the fast roll, and will miss it, had to go for a thicker sidewall. And if you're going to call a tire tubeless ready, it should be tubeless ready. Sorry Specialized.

Very light. Grips well.
Sharp rocks puncture it easily.
Second ride a rock punctured the tred. Sealed it with sealent and went back out. Another sharp rock slit the sidewall. These are race tires but on a rocky course you may not get through the race without a puncture.

Light weight, fast, tubeless compatible.
The trade off for a light tire is that it is not as rugged as heaver tires. Not so hot in deep sand. I had a tire that wouldn't seal on the sidewall using Stan's. The bike store replaced it without question. Four other tire of this model have sealed without a hitch. Expensive at $60/ea.
This is a light weight racing tire. I would recommend using as tubeless on Roval Control rims or DT Swiss 420SL rims. I would not use on extremely rough terrain. Would recommend for XC racing.

NONE!
Sidewalls have dozens of small holes right from the mfg. Even with 2 oz of Stans they still leaked. When you buy brand new EXPENSIVE UST rims and the tires ruin the whole experience, shame on you Specialized for experimenting on your customers. Never again.
Complete disappointment, almost ruined a 600.00 rim set. Almost every ride was a nightmare. Keep on looking. I have been riding for over 15 years and I don't like it when a manufacture tests its products on consumers. Once again shame on you Specialized.

High rolling
Sidewalls, no good for tubeless
An awesome hard pack XC tyre if you're using tubes. For tubeless though forget it. Both front and back sidewalls have small tears in them from standard xc riding.
I'm 70kg or 155lb's so am a lightweight.

Weight, rolling resistance, pretty good grip
sidewalls - touch a rock and there is suddenly a huge rip that you can't fix.
Price - $100 AUD is ridiculous
These things came on my bike. First ride, the back one ripped on a rock and was written off. The front one lasted a week, before it too suffered a similar fate. They were good to ride on, but the goodness didn't last.
If I could afford two wheelsets, I might run these as race tyres, but if you plan on riding these through rock gardens and the like, look somewhere else.

Lightweight @ 515 per tire; very good rolling resistance; hard pack riding conditions
extremely loose or muddy conditions
I recently put these tires on my bike and I have been pleasantly pleased. The tires simply perform better than you would expect for a lightweight low-knob tire. They are excellent in hardpack conditions.
I'm not sure about the other review on the 1.9 LK as I've been training on these tires in Downieville and if there is a course that shreds tires, Downieville's baby heads and downhill qualifies! I haven't suffered a tear, tire leak of any problems. They do not hook up as well on loose climbs or corner as well as more agressive tires in the loose shale, but that's the trade-off for a tire that weighs significantly less (.3 lb per tire).
If you're riding primarily hardpack to loose and looking for a high performance lightweight tire, look no further.
