Date Reviewed: December 28, 2007
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Strengths:Grip, traction, turning ability, rolling resistance, ability to hold air.
Weaknesses:A little on the heavy side. 2.25" is really a 2.1". High price. A little difficult to put on.
Similar Products Used:Conti, Specialized, Maxxis, Intense, Kenda
Bike Setup:Intense 5.5 w/ Mavic Crossmax SL
Bottom Line:Great tire. Measurably better than Conti Vertical Pro UST 2.3" that I have been running. So far the best UST tire I have found. You will need to spend US$50 per each tire. For aggressive riders, you might want to get the Fat Albert which is 2.35".

Date Reviewed: October 31, 2007
Favorite Trail:San Juan, Moro, Aliso, etc.
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $55.00
Purchased At:Schwalbe North Amercia
Strengths:Fast, light weight for snakeskin sidewall durability, handle compact stuff very well... Best overall tubeless tire for REAR ONLY since it's 2.1" & sometimes the Albert 2.25 depending on how aggressive you're riding! Up front I run the Albert 2.25" or the Fat Albert 2.35".
Weaknesses:None!
Similar Products Used:All Tubeless... Kenda Nevegal and Blue Groove, WTB Mutanoraptor 2.24, Maxxis Ignitor & High Roller, Schwalbe Racing Ralph 2.25 & Albert & Fat Albert and more...
Bike Setup:Intense 5.5 EVP, Pike 454 Air, Pushed Fox RP3, Mavic CrossMax XLs, All XTR/X0 components, Thompson Stem & Seatpost!
Bottom Line:These are a great all around tire. Not too many have heard of them. I've used them for the past 2-years and keep going back to them after trying others... German made so quality is great... low resistance, great cornering & great grip!

Date Reviewed: August 8, 2005
Favorite Trail:Clagiraba
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $50.00
Purchased At:Cycle house Mikami
Strengths:It does what it is suppose to, It grips, It even grips when being run on the edge of the tire.
Weaknesses:Compound is a little soft and time will tell as to its durability, UST tires are tough to get on at the best of times, but this tire was simply a nightmare to get on.
Similar Products Used:Michelin UST,s Panaracer, tioga, Maxxis Continental, you name it tried it!
Bike Setup:Ultra light Scapin
Bottom Line:It is a good tire, if just a little heavy.
Value Rating:3Overall Rating:3
