Strengths: I only got to ride this for a day (see below). Seemed to corner and brake ok. This is for the 2.3 version.Weaknesses: I destroyed this tire in one ride. I rode my usual trails, and put a cut the length of one of the knobs into the tire after going over some rocks (that I ride over all the time). The cut was so big that the Stan's wasn't able to seal it for a really long time (not sure it ever fully did, as did this near end of ride and was able to make it back without putting a tube in). The other really bad thing is how much vibration there is from this tire when rolling on hardpack (or pavement). I ride a decent amount of hardpack trails, and the vibration was terrible.Bottom Line: The cut could have happened at any time, and I just got unlucky, but combined with the terrible vibration, it was not a tire that was going to stay on my bike. I also prefer the Specialized Enduro 2.4 2Bliss tires, and some others, they work better.

Strengths: One of the best cornering tires I have ever ridden. Good grip in both soft and hard conditions.Weaknesses: The tires are really heavy, and are relatively skinny for a 2.3.Bottom Line: I feel this is a good all around tire. If you are not a weight weenie I highly recommend it.

Strengths: this is for the NBX 2.3 UST!
Great tread pattern. Good compound. Rolls faster than other knobby tires of the same size. Grips really well in dry desert conditions and is surprisingly good in shallow mud and even snow.Weaknesses: Has a slow leak the even Stan's will not cure.
All UST tires seem too heavy after using "regular" tires w/ sealant. That's not to say that THIS tire is particularly heavy in its class - ALL ust tires are.Bottom Line: I like it! The NBX 2.3 offers a great mixture of grippy tread, semi-sticky compound, and faster rolling for what it is. Definitly faster than the Nevegal, for example, with as good a feel in most situations and better in some - likr loose gravel climbs.
All UST tires are way too expensive - when the tires on your CAR are the same price as the tires on your bike....! So for this reason ALONE I give ALL UST TRIRES no more than 4 rellanos for value.

Strengths: They felt good when i got them with my kona stuffWeaknesses: After a few days riding i returned to my bike to find that the side wall had been ripped apart. I still dunno how this happened and i was quite annoyed as i only had them a weekBottom Line: These are crap if they puncture that easily

Strengths: You feel as though you can run over everything. I'm used to 2.1 tires to do urban riding with, let me tell you; the first time I tried these Nokian (which came on my Stinky) I was amazed. I can literally just pedal up curbs/stairs without lifting my front end...Weaknesses: These are the only 2.5" tires I've tried. Therefor on my experience with 2.5" i can't really say anything bad about them. Only time will tell...Bottom Line: For stock tires I've got to say that I'm very pleased. I can go everywhere without having to worry about slipping or go all over the trails on soft sand. As for value and control these tires deserve 5/5 chillis.
