Strengths: light, fast, very good corneringWeaknesses: a bit hard to mount, but all UST tires are that way.Bottom Line: really light, fast rolling tires. They corner better than racing ralphs in the dry/hardpack trails. Probably not good for mud, but thats not what they are intended for. I like how the rear tire mounts the opposite of the front, seems to give a bit better grip.

Strengths: Very Fast. Low resistance. Hook up great on dry trail. Very good on loose trail once you get used to them. Rail great if you throw them into the corner.Weaknesses: A little "squirrly" on the roots and climbing grip is sporadic unless you have momentum and keep the power on.Bottom Line: Super fast and fun if you want to hit it hard and don't mind an occasional close call. No flats and minimal air loss so far. Back tire wearing quickly but it's worth it.
For the right conditions, the best tire I've used. I love em!

Strengths: Extremely light weight, yet relatively strong. Look very nice with the two color tread. VERY low rolling resistance.Weaknesses: Pricy at $50+ a pieceBottom Line: I wanted a tyre that matched my more urban and dry compact trail riding preference and this fit the bill. I weight 210lbs and thus far these tyres have held up very well. They wear a bit faster than normal, but this is because the higher grip racing tread compound is softer on the XCR vs the XC variant. The problem is that if you're UST, as I am, you have but only once choice.. the XCR.

Strengths: good traction in most conditions; decent weightWeaknesses: if used for what they are made for there are no weaknesses.
They are bad on wet roots. Hard to mount on some rims.Bottom Line: Its a good tire for dry trails especially but I have had good luck on moderately muddy trails aswell. They are fast rolling and work well for xc racing/riding.

Strengths: Light weight. Never got a flat. Corners well. Rolls super fast.Weaknesses: Wears out way too quickly, not a good climber.Bottom Line: Put em on your race wheels if you got them. If you use them to train with, you'll have bald tires by race day.

Strengths: Excellent traction in the dry dirt conditions, low rolling resistance, and thorn puncture resistantWeaknesses: Not the best for climbing over rocks/roots as the knobs are low and not positioned to grip obstaclesBottom Line: I love these tires! I wouldn't ride them back in the eastern US with the woods and wet. But here in the dry climate they are great. Added bonus is that once I switched to UST and added Stan's no flat I have had only one flat tire - and there are tons of thorns here.
