$30.00 | | Purchased At: | ebay | | Strengths: | weight, rollinng resistance, cornering | | Weaknesses: | expensive/overpriced | | Similar Products Used: | pythons, specialized roll x | | Bike Setup: | giant nrs carbon, sram xo drivetrain, raceface, avid ultimates, bontrager race modified tubeless wheels, fox fx 80 fork. | | Bottom Line: | as long as you get the right tire pressure it rolls to just about anything even in the loose stuff but not sticky mud.its a nice upgrade over tha pythons since it corners better and squirms less.use it as a race tire and you will be rewarded. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$25.00 | | Purchased At: | LBS | | Strengths: | Roll Fast, decend well, corners confidently in loose, dry, rocky conditions | | Weaknesses: | HEAAAAAVY, obviously not for the wet | | Similar Products Used: | none tubeless; NBX, trailblaster, michelin lite w/tubes | | Bike Setup: | Fisher hardtail with XT | | Bottom Line: | This is my first experience with tubeless. So far, so good. These tires have really improved my riding, I wish I'd made the switch earlier. They slowly leak, but my understanding is this is normal.
My only beef is the weight. If your tire weighs 800+ grams, SAY SO!!!!! Ugh, my bike gained almost a pound in the switch from tubed to tubeless. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
