Geax Sturdy UST Tubeless Tire

DESCRIPTION

A tubeless tire will stay on the rim even if deflated, a safety feature in case of sudden loss of pressure due to major tire damage (cuts) Tuned Spring Rate Through ingenious engineering, Geax Tuned Spring Rate casing helps resist pinch flats, while at the same time, enhancing directional control and steering precision. Higher spring rates reduce the amount of deformation of the tire, lowering the chances of a pinch flat.

Strength:

Airs up easily. Not too heavy. Nice pattern that digs well, but doesn't seem too slow. Good on turns. Seems to wear slowly.

Weakness:

Well, seems to wear slowly may be a function of the very hard rubber. Can be a rough ride. Really need to play with PSI for best ride and performance.

Great tire--long-lasting, good grip going up loose and rocky, and in handling turns. The hard rubber can make for a rough ride in certain situations, but getting the correct PSI greatly reduces that. I use as a back tire, but it may work well up front too.

For those that only want to use one tire for a very long time that works well, this may be it.

Strength:

High volume, tread works well in most conditions.

Weakness:

I dont know. $50, but worth it.

I like the durability and confidence @ 30psi. Also that gives just the right amount of 'soft tail' feel. This UST version wears well. I recommend it highly.
