Strengths:
Light weight tube, Same wieght as the racing tubes, Holds air well, Does help some what against thorn punctures,
Weaknesses:
Does not give any help with pinching, hard to get regular patches to fit due to the inablity to scuff them when they do puncture. They do leak air slowly as the tempture increases and decreases.

Bottom Line:
These tubes do help agaist minor thorn punctures and will help if you ride in thorn filled areas. They do leak more air when the temptures drop and increase rapidly. Pathches are difficult to get them to stick because they are hard to scuff due to the fact they resist punctures. They are no more resistant to pinch flats as a regular tube and when making it hard to patch you had better have your pressure set right becuase patching them trail side is a tough. They are as light as standard Specialized tubes and when combined with thorn resistance this is a great alternative to Slime or Tire liners. I got them free from Specialized when I got some bad standard tubes. With all there strenghs I think when they are gone I'll go over to Maxxis flyweights and put back in my tire liners.

Strengths:
This happens to be a great alternative for hard core X-country riders who get plagued by flats due to thorns or any other debris for that matter. They are much better at preventing punctures but are much lighter that the traditional thorn-resistant tubes that weigh almost as much as an exra tire.
Weaknesses:
Due to Specialized's B.S. marketing ploys, local shops are required to purchase only large cases at a time, thus resulting in many shops not willing to carry them. The result is that you have to buy directly from them for a healthy chop.

Bottom Line:
Like I said before. A great product to use if weight is an issue and are constantly getting flats because you ride on real trails
