Strengths: I can't imagine how you would get a flat with these things on boardWeaknesses: They are heavy and alter the rolling charactics of the bike. I'd say I have to pedal 30-40% harder on pavement - but for some reason I don't notice it in the woods or on trails.Bottom Line: If you ride in an area with alot of thorns (which I do) - you won't have to worry about flats. However - they do make the bike considerably harder to pedal.
