    Strengths:    It definetely looks like its a 1.7, but I was surprised how good it grip to the loose stuff. I do ride fast and hard. Its fast, light and grippy in the dry, but cant say the same on wet stuff.

    Weaknesses:    But this tire is definetely not for mud, had given me a few faceplants while trying. Dont try them on rocks either, u'll be sorry.

    Bottom Line:
    Its a great tire if u use them in the dry, its light, fast and gripping, did I say it climbs great....I would buy them if I live in a place not as rainy as in Vancouver, it just sucked in the mud and wet loosy rocks. I would give it a 3 flaming ones cuz its just not for the place I live.

    Strengths:    light, grip when they have knobs.

    Weaknesses:    the knobs came of after about 5 miles of dirt.

    Bottom Line:
    Ive been riding various WTB tires for 5 or 6 years and never seen anything like this. It must have been a bad batch, and WTB says its covered under warranty, but i havent been able to get ahold of them. Also these are way small for 1.85, id say 1.7 at best. Hopfully i can get my hands on the 2.1s, i guess i have to wait and see.

    Strengths:    Super low rolling resistance(fast rolling); lightweight; not too expensive;

    Weaknesses:    first pair disintegrated on me; a little slippage during uphill climbing, but it is excusable

    Bottom Line:
    Bought a pair from a shady online store(who also sells on e-bay) because they were dirt cheap(for a reason). After receiving them, I mounted a tire to the rear wheel one day, and it disintegrated on its first ride; did the same thing with the other tire the following day and the same result. Finally got a hold of WTB's warranty department and Travis did me right. New replacement tires were at my house in 1&1/2 - 2 weeks after sending the old ones in. Outstanding company. Oh, and its a great tire for dry hardpack conditions. If taken out of its element then it seems like it would pack up with mud easily with the close tread blocks, so use it in the right conditions and you'll love this tire.

    Strengths:    Amazing on the hard, dry stuff. Screaming fast. Good in slightly wet conditions.

    Weaknesses:    Sucks for hard cornering on ANY surface. Powerslide city!

    Bottom Line:
    If you're in central ON, this is your primo dry-conditions hardpack tire. If the conditions are really wet, or loose, go somewhere else.

    Strengths:    Good resistance to flats. Amazingly good grip on roots and in mud.

    Weaknesses:    Bad grip in heavy turns and on gravel.

    Bottom Line:
    These tires came with my bake when I purchased it. At a first glance I wasn´t at all satisfied with those small tires with small tread. Amazingly though, after several tough rides over roots, mud etc, I must say that I´m very surpries over the strength of this tire. It seems impossible to get a flat tire. Because of the smart tread it grips well over roots and also in muddy conditions and stones. The weakness of this tire is the width that makes it grip bad in heavy turns, and also it´s not at all good on gravel. As I said I didn´t have any expectations of this tire, and I got positively surprised that it works so well riding in the woods. They are fast, light, good on technical parts, but due to the lack of grip in curves and gravel I´ve bought a pair of Hutchinson python air light instead, which have the similiar tread, but are wider and hopefully will have a better grip on gravel.
