Bottom Line:
A good tyre for paved roads & hard pack off road surfaces. I mainly ride 90% on road & 10% off & find this Tyre rolls very well on paved roads as it has a niece solid centre ridge & gripes well on loose gravel due to the aggressive outside tread, but due to the staged nature of the tread small stones have a tendency to become wedged which becomes annoying on paved roads (it sounds like you got a nail in your tyre). It has a very thick tread pattern which gives the tyre a long life ,I've ridin around 2000ks on these & they look like they will go another 20000ks,they show very little sign of wear,it gripes well in the wet on pavement & on hard-pack,I haven't ridin on serious trails on these (hey there semis). But using these tyres for what there designed for there pretty hard to fault & after having tossed my last set of tyres in the bin after three flats on one ride (silentos) these are great 2000ks & not a puncture, the only trade off is the weight around 850gms but with the added puncture protection this tyre gives I'll happily put up with a few extra gms.
