Strengths: The unique color design is attention grabbing.Weaknesses: May be a soft rubber compound.Bottom Line: This review is for the Sweetskinz tires with a Scorch color design with a semi-slick tread pattern. The Scorch color design is available in different tread patterns.
Purchased two tires at the LBS for 1/2 price because for some reason the shop was not able to sell any of the tires they ordered.
These semi slicks work great on roads and paved trails. They get a lot of looks when riding, which is why I purchased them.
A mechanic commented the rubber compound feels a little soft and expected the side knobs to break off when cornering. I have done plenty of riding on these tires and have not experienced any problems on these tires to date.
The semi-slicks have a low rolling resistance and work great on the roads, even in the snow this winter. Since I use these for road tires I keep them pumped to the maximum 65 psi for road riding.
