poor mounting.........Bottom Line: Verry fast tire, but not verry lightwheight.
After 12000 km (7500 miles) still no flat!!! Good grip.

Strengths: Durable, narrow, slick, FAST, reasonable priceWeaknesses: Maybe a tad over 1.0Bottom Line: Thank you, Specialized, for bringing these tires back from retirement. Yes, maybe they are a bit heavier than some 1.0 tires, maybe they aren't even really 1.0, but they are narrow, they are rugged, and they turn my mt. bike into a road bike. In fact, I've hardly touched my road bike since I put these tires on my mt. bike a few years ago (when Pro Classis were regular old "Turbo Comps"). I was bummed when they were discontinued, but they are back and even better than the originals.
When I ride with roadies, I generally have no touble keeping up, unless they are in race shape and on a fast training ride, and then it doesn't matter what kind of tire I'm riding.
My other 1.0 street slick, the Continental Grand Prix, is a great tire, but it doesn't seem to hold up as well as the Specialized tire. The Contis are also just a bit more squirrely; for example, they are prone to slip more easily than the Turbos on wet pavement. So I've salted away the Contis for very special rides (like the Climb to Kaiser). Otherwise, when I'm on pavement, I stick with my Turbos - this is a great tire for the road. I like the price, too - fair enough given the quality involved.

Strengths: Rolls really fast

Difficult to instal on mtb rimsBottom Line: These are a really good upgrade if you are training and you don't have the $$$ to buy a road bike. Totally worth the money.
