Strengths: Very light weight at under 500 grams (about 475)
Good on Hardpack
Great for racing
Great on races with long climbsWeaknesses: Lousy mud tire
Good only on Hardpack and not much else
Watch out when the trails are muddy or dusty. This tire will wash out without much warningBottom Line: This is a good hardpack racing tire, but not good on anything else. If the conditions are muddy, you will go DOWN without much warning. If you climb alot, this is a great climbing tire because of its low rotating weight. I imagine you would only use this on racing conditions as it's too expensive and wears too quickly. This tire is sooo light, but also soooo expensive. Buy it if the racing conditions are hard packed. Don't buy it if you're not racing as it will wear down quickly. For just under $50 a pop, it can wear a hole in your wallet quickly.

Strengths:
485g per tire
Knobs do not break off anymore
Awesome performanceWeaknesses:
Very thin sidewalls
Price (ouch!)Bottom Line: Wow! These tires took a whole pound off an already light bike. Where does all that weight come from? THE SIDEWALLS. If you ride where its very rocky you will abraid/rub holes in the sidewalls (at least I have on my rear tire). I even had to put a patch on the inside of the tire to keep the tire rideable. Overall - the ride is awesome and they appear to have fixed the problem with knobs breaking off. Great traction especially on off-cambers and the front steers better than anything i've ever used.Five Chiles for performanceThree Chiles for overall durability - these are race specific tires designed with maximum performance at min weight, not long term durability in mind.
