Price Paid:
$30.00
Purchased At:
lbs
Strengths:
Killer cornering traction, best I've ever found. Better than most DH tires. Rolls reasonably well and relatively light weight for a big tire. 2.3 is @850 gr and as big as most 2.5's. Slightly sticky but not too soft.
Weaknesses:
Don't make it with a kevlar bead anymore. Dam you Specialized!
Similar Products Used:
Tioga, Maxxis, Michelin, Kenda
Bike Setup:
Intense 5.5 w/ Maverick
Bottom Line:
Great tire for what it is, a high traction trailbike tire. It's not for DH or cross country racing. There's lighter and better rolling tires but they don't have as much traction. I've been through 5 of these without a problem.
