Product Description

The Chunder S-Works was designed to be our most versatile DH tire ever, utilizing our proprietary Umma Gumma DH-specific compounds to provide the absolute best in traction and control. We also incorporated our reinforced S-Works dual ply casing with butyl inserts around the bead to stiffen the sidewall, preventing pinch flats and improving cornering ability.

Strengths:    Beefy, durable, confidence in the corners

Weaknesses:    weight

Bottom Line:
These tires are heavy and slow. However, I have never slid out on these babies. Tough side walls, agressive tread, and tough compound. I usually chew through two sets of tires per season due to Moab and So Utah sandstone. these babies have been all over with over 600 miles on them and still plenty left for another season. I will take the confidence in the turns with the added weight. This is an incredible front tire but would not recommend it to you weight weenies.

4 flamers overall due to weight.
