Strengths:    Great looks, i use the Comp version for just a bit more tread. I think slicks are dead, but this baby is choice! smaller profile and fast, with decent hookup in the sloppy stuff as long as you subscribe to the finesse school-no need for giant mud tires no more...

Weaknesses:    None i've found so far...

Bottom Line:   
Check the major Mail=order guys, and save a whole lot on tires. My first set of conti's cost as much as the tires on my car. Never again. Educate yourself, and then turn on a friend...

Bike Setup:   This is the system: for XC and all-round, run a big(2.1) knobber in the front like Specialized Ground control and run your smaller, faster little dude in the rear. I run a '95 Specialized M2 Stump with RS Judy and the XT trip.

MtBaldy on front and Baldy on rear wheel, the fastest combination available for XC racing


Weaknesses:    
none, if used only when suposed to


Bottom Line:   
highest recomendation for hardpack XC racing
