Strength:

Supper sticky, Stiff and very knobby. PSI can go from 35 - 80. Great price

Weakness:

Somewhat heavy, The tread will wear down quickly on lots of pavement

I'm trying these tires for the first time. These aren't for heavy city driving. I'll be hitting the dirt in the next day or so. My derailed is not functioning correctly today for some reason. *can't get it out of gear*

Strength:

inexpensive; burly enuff high roller imitation

Weakness:

none

This is for the Evil Twin Roller RS 2.4:

I'm using this as a rear tire. Wide and heavy enuff for most uses. Rubber is good on rocks, roots, gravel, and climbs well enuff. I think RS stands for Reinforced Sidewall, I can run it well at a variety of pressures.

I'm happy with this tire, especially for the price (LBS sale)

LET'S GO HUCKING!

Strength:

Sticky rubber, good deep lugs, tough as nails sidewalls, great psi ranges.

Weakness:

Heavey f'n tire! Rubber wears quickly on anything harder than soft mud, lugs shear on rocky/rooty trails

Good tire to get some bite in the mucky stuff, works ok on the wet rocks and roots. Wears really fast and weighs a ton.
2 chilli's for value - they won't do 500km before needing to be replaced.
4 chilli's for overall - they do bite in the deep and dirty stuff.

Strength:

No flats at Downieville or Northstar. Soft tread hooks up well on firm terrain. Rolls surpisingly well on gradual ascents

Weakness:

Front of center tread angled for speed. Reduces traction especially in the soft stuff. Questionable front hookup on hard corning in all conditions. Does not always inspire confidence. This is the second and third specialized tires that I have had arrive new with warps. Makes the wheels look out of true when they are not. You notice the size and weight difference in steep climbs.

Tires worked best for me at Downieville where the terrain is terribly torn up. Maintains good speed while descending and the 2.2 makes my 5 inches of travel come into its own.
