Strengths: Big Trends, light weightWeaknesses: big knobs seems to wear out easy, rolls slow.Bottom Line: Its lighter or as light as my other tires that are not as beefy. Its very beefy looking and the feels seems to be sluggish. The big knobs makes this a exceptional backcountry prowler. After less than a year I had to replace my because the trends were getting wearn out.
But over all this is a exceptional big backcountry tire!

Strengths: Beefy tread that cleans well in mud and sticks well under all conditions.Weaknesses: Pinch flats until I increased my tire presure from 35 to 45. Have had no flats at 45 and have rolled over 200 miles of mostly rocky terain.Bottom Line: The Epic came with Roll-X Pro rubber which I thought was an ok tire. It didn't stick the way I wanted it to on steep muddy climbs so I replaced them with the Enduro S-Works which climb, turn, and stop well on all types of surfaces. I have began to race this year and plan on buying a set of Roll X S-Works rubber for less technical courses because they do roll better than the Enduro's. As far as pinch flats that other reviewers report I'll have to say that I had them at 35psi, but none at 45 psi. I weigh 200 and ride 5 days a week on North Idaho's best trails. I am also very surprised to see how durable the very soft rubber has been.
