Favorite Trail:This one
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $50.00
Purchased At:Wheels N Motion
Similar Products Used:Specialized Eskar Sport, IRC Tamashi DH
Bike Setup:08 Specialized Pitch with a little here and there upgrades.
Bottom Line:I have the 2.6 version of this tire. I first tried it on my rear and it was a great downhiller, controls were very predictable and stable on highspeed. Braking is excellent and instant. Handles bumps, rock gardens, roots, and gravel well. But it was too wide for my front derailur. I switched it to the front and tested it a few times and so far the same results. Makes landing so much easier since it has a huge contact patch compared to the stock Eskar Sports I had on. Great tire so far

Favorite Trail:the one I'm riding
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $49.00
Purchased At:True Wheels in Killington
Strengths:Great tread, hooks up well in New England conditions, relatively light weight
Weaknesses:Not the thickest sidewall out there.
Similar Products Used:Nokian, WTB, Maxxis, IRC
Bike Setup:Rotec Pro DH
Bottom Line:The tread wears well so you won't be buying new tires all the time. Like I mentioned before, this tire has proven itself in New England riding conditions...rocks, roots and most of all slick. Overall a good tire for DH and freeride.
