Strengths:    Great rubber compound, traction, braking are all really good, low rolling resistance, good tread life.

Weaknesses:    None really

Bottom Line:
I gave these a go on a whim, not expecting much but I was really impressed with their performance in all conditions. I originally intended to just use them in the dry but ended up using them in the wet as well, they weren't great but were better than Minions on my buddys bikes, they hooked up pretty well and cleared the mud better than other dry tyres I've used. In the dry they're fantastic, roll fast and hook up well on dust and rocks. In my opinion they are the perfect Australian conditions tyre. They brake much better than the usual Minion DHF on the rear that is popular here and I think also better than HighRollers as well.

Give them a run and you won't be disappointed.

Strengths:    schwalbe snake skin, light, grippy and good traction

Weaknesses:    slippery on the wet, and over roots and rocks.

Bottom Line:
The are LIGHT, and they roll FAST giving great traction, but they are definitely overwhelmed over wet AM terrain, on the dry they are perfect! but the Nics are to slippery.

Strengths:    Good fast flowing grippy tire

Weaknesses:    slighty weighty compaired to high rollers

Bottom Line:
Got it for free at the worldcup last year from a bin !!
Really good sticky tire for flowing dusty tracks, copes well in the wet aswell , beastly for FortWilliam in mid summer when its dry and fast!

Big Betty vs Wicked Will vs Fat Albert

I am looking for a rear tyre to start running on the rear around October when things dry up. I normaly run a 2.35 GG MM front and 2.4 triple BB rear and I plan to continue with this combination for FR and DH, awesome setup. The BB rolls reasonably well but wears a little fast on milage rides so I wo ... Read More »
