Strengths:
Good Grips, doesnt weare fast.
Weaknesses:
Dont look so cool but I dont think there is any all round tire which does especially not when its small. Also not as superfast on the road as i expected.
Bike Setup:
Cannondale Jekyll 800 standard european setup
Bottom Line:
This tyre is awesome, it has better grip in light muddy corners than most mudtires i used do. I bought this tire because of the high rating it received on this site and it was the right choice for sure. When it gets REALLY muddy it isnt so good though, but it isnt made for that anyway. On the road it isnt as fast as I expected it to be so 4 out of 5 for overall rating 5 out of 5 for value, definately worth your cash.

Great for all round use and for xc riding. Not bad for a jump.
I use this tires for all round use (work) mostly. But twice a week I ride XC and a little jumping and these tires never let me down. Never had a flat tire for a year now!!! It's a little heavy though... BUY THEM.

Strengths:
Reasonable traction, durable tread, can run high pressure, I like the tread pattern
Weaknesses:
Price, weight, sidewall looks brittle after 4 months of hard riding
Similar Products Used:
Michelin Wildgripper, Panaracer Fire XCpro, Specialized Ground Control.
Bike Setup:
FSR XC PRO
Bottom Line:
I like this tire. It gives pretty good traction in a wide variety of conditions and has been very puncture resistant. I've been riding in some pretty rocky terrain and noticed today that I have two bulges in the sidewall where I can see some rock damage. Because the sidewall appears brittle I suspect some of this is related to the tire, not just my errant navigating.

Strengths:
Durable, fast rolling, super grippy, low noise on the road and overall quality.
Weaknesses:
Some say weight, but that's not much iff you look at how these tyres perform.
Similar Products Used:

Bottom Line:
Verry good tyres for CC use, super fast on hardpack and not to bad in the mud. They almost don't wear on the road, and I also do a lot of road riding on them. Verry puncture resitant and not to heavy. I like these tyres verry much and rode them almost everywhere from Port du Soleil(france) to the dutch trails and never had something to complair about. I can realy recommend these tires to anyone who doesn't ride sticky mud or downhill. The way I see it they are the best CC tires for allround use!

Bottom Line:
These tires are great. I was riding in loose dirt an the tread scoops it so well it was flinging it on my back! The tread pattern is supper effective in all terrain, in hard pack rolling resistance is nill. The shoulders make cornering very good. I love these tires. When they wear out I'm goin to try the Schwalbe Black Jacks just because they look sweet.

Strengths:
Grippy profile. Schwalbe Black Jack rule!
Weaknesses:
Actually is a general weakness for all knobby tires... don't use abrupt braking doing curves on asphalted roads.
Similar Products Used:
Specialized Control Master Pro(rear), Specialized Team Master Pro(front)
Bike Setup:
Specialized StumpJumper Pro Disc
Bottom Line:
Schwalbe gives homework to do for the original Spec Master Pro's and Controls I originally had on. I was not happy at all with the cornering and grip on natural roads (pretty muddy/rocky) for the original Spec tires. For half the price, you'll get super-duper Black Jacks! On asphalted roads, they're silent (I was amazed by that). On mud and woods singletrails they're grippy and good, cornering gives confident feelings. I can only recommend this tire for mostly natural roads with various conditions (mud, dust, rocks, snow) and tricky climbings, DH.

Handling, grip, cornering, weight (approx. 520grams in 2.1 version), low rolling resistance, durable, quality, distintive bronze/black coloring
Weaknesses:
Price, sometimes hard to get, otherwise none so far

Bottom Line:
This is a review for the Black Shark 2.1 front/rear combo. I've been using these XC specific tires for about 18 months now. So far no complaints. These are great tires for XC riding/racing. Great handling, very predictive in normal (dry and wet) conditions. Only when it starts to get very muddy the Black Shark shows some weaknesses: grip and cornering, but still predictive. But hey this is not a specific mud tire, therefor Schwalbe designed the Black Shark Mud. Only downside is the price (if you have to pay full price) and sometimes they are hard get. But then again Germany is just a blink away from where I live.

These are realy great tires, they give so mutch confidence in them, they don't wear to bad , i've only had one puncture since i fitted them 6 months ago. I would recommend these tires to anyone, only when the mud gets realy thick and sticky do they start to show a weakness, the price is also good, try them, you won't be dissapointed.

When compared to Michelin, Schwalbe also wins, becuase of the rubber quality they use. Michelin have a very good grip but have a veryb soft compund that makes the tire crack by time.

Shwalbe Black Shark Double defnese has a very good protection against punctures, especially when you are racing in competitions. It has also got a speciallty in it that by time, lets sya about 1 1/2 years the tyre remains good even if used on road. It is foldable and takes a presssure of 65 PSI which is equal to about 4.5 bar. Another thing is that it a very good rubber and it deos not crack by time
