Strengths: Excellent front directional tyre in mud. Fantastic self cleaning ability even in sticky mud. Light. Digs in deep and finds grip in deep mud. I have used it tubeless with Stans strips on a Mavic 819 for 3 months so far without any trouble. Low rolling resistance. Long wearing.Weaknesses: None.Bottom Line: As soon as the winter arrives I put this tyre 2.1 on the front and the Fire Mud Pro 1.8 on the rear. It is an excellent set up for the local trails conditions where mud of all kinds are present.

Strengths: Does what is says, sticks in mud/snow and is very light...Weaknesses: None. Use it for the purpose it is designed for and you are good to go.Bottom Line:
This is a great skinny nobby tire for racing or riding in less than ideal conditions. At sub 400g a tire, it is really light and the tread design is great as it allows the tire to dig in and not get plugged up with mud....
Run (don't walk) to your LBS and get a set. I used them for the 2008 Uxbridge Ice Breaker and they worked like a charm. They even rolled well on the concession roads too.
No kidding...

Strengths: the only mud specific tyre i have seen for ages and they realy work.Weaknesses: usless in anything other than mud. hard work on hard surfacesBottom Line: if you live in a muddy area get this but if you live in places where it wet and dry you might need to change tyre for every ride according to the conditions

Strengths: Mud specific design. Skinny with deep lugs. Cuts through the mud and gets you traction. While keeping the rotating weight down and not allowing alot of mud to pack the tread.Weaknesses: Not really a weakness, but this tire should not be used for any conditions other than mud rides. If there is no mud the performance will drop off significantly.Bottom Line: I like this tire and its construction. I'm impressed with the cornering grip and overall traction that a mud specific tire can provide. I would buy this tire again, and will probably try other Scwalbe tires based on the good construction and quality of this tire.

Strengths: Snarly grip in slush - the best winter tire I've found.Weaknesses: Pretty goofy on ice... and pretty pricy, too.Bottom Line: Sweet in slush - far superior to the big fat tires I've been running the last 5 years. I can't help but wonder, though, if there's somehting else out there as good or better for less.
