Strengths: weight to durabilty ratio, grip on various rock and rootsWeaknesses: Does not come in larger sizes 2.3 or 2.4Bottom Line: Bought these tires for riding Kanata Lakes Outback trail, they surpassed all expectations I had considering they are designed for XC racing not AM. The terrain is 80% rock in all forms, Canadian shield to smaller jagged edges everywhere. I found some of the larger durable tires just don't conform to the bumps enough and leave you bouncing regardless of lowest of air pressures. Some how rounded profile, many short strong nubs grip very well here. When it's wet here there is really no mud but just enough slop on your tires to make the short steep climbs very dangerous, these tire do well but are limited by their small size of 2.1.
I got a full season out of the front , the rear's side wall was eventually punctured by a small tree stump puncture. I will note here that the side wall has a reasonably tough rubber layer for this tires 530 weight.
Can't under stand why this tire is not more popular.

Strengths: Super light, very fast.Weaknesses: If running tubeless, takes a while to set up.Bottom Line: Replaced a set of Schwalbe Racing Ralphs with these Ritcheys. Much lighter and faster. If setting up for tubeless be sure you use a good brand of sealant and makes sure the sidewalls get well coated. It takes about two days for the tires to seal. After that they really will make your riding faster. Got a great deal on these on e-bay.
