Soar is a great combination of a fast rolling, race oriented tire that performs equally well in XC and marathon riding in both loose and hardpack conditions. The perfect tire for a long summer day of riding in a variety of terrain.

Strengths:    Very good for lots of terrain, only thing I can't comment on yet is mud. I do expect them to clog up pretty quick though. Bought them on Amazon, very good deal.

Weaknesses:    Width, these claim to be 2.0's (on the sidewall anyways) bit they look more like 1.9's at the most. After using them for a while though it never bothered me again.

Bottom Line:
Great tires, I'll buy them again when they wear out!

Anyone know where the soar trail is? I've heard a lot about it. All I know for sure is that is near the Winnebago River. Nobody seems to have any idea where it is, but everyone seems to hype about it.Read More »
