Favorite Trail:still looking
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:Good commuter/around town tyre
also usable on dirt roads or when there is a little snow
Weaknesses:not glass proof (what is?)
not suitable for "real" off road riding (neither is my commuter bike)
does not look as cool as some slicks
Similar Products Used:The tyres that were on the bike in 1992
Bike Setup:1992 Specialized Hard Rock Sport
Bottom Line:This is a good tire for getting around town and riding areas where real off road capability is not needed. It rolls well and keeps going on dirt roads or a bit of snow. I'd stay away from mud and rocky trails.

Date Reviewed: March 30, 2004
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Purchased At:King's Bicycle
Strengths:-Low resistance, for speedy move over asphalt, cemen trail.
-Lightweight coz of its size
Weaknesses:less grip on wet surface, easily skids when braking on wet surface.
Similar Products Used:none
Bottom Line:Want speed on urban streets, this is your tire. Can handle little off-road trail, not an ideal tire for the rainy season.

Submitted by Markku Pöysti a Weekend Warrior from Espoo, Finland
Date Reviewed: March 25, 2003
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $20.00
Strengths:Low rolling resistance
Weaknesses:Broke from inside. After one thread had broken, more and more threads broke (during one hour in Vätternrundan) and finally inner tube popped out. There was still plenty of rubber left after one year and 6000 km.
Similar Products Used:Conti GP:s (sidewall too weak), Nokian City Runners (sucks glass), Primo Racers (slippery on wet surfaces)
Bike Setup:Vision R40 LWB
Bottom Line:Ok, but cannot be trusted for long trips. Maybe i'll use these in the future and carry foldable spare tire.

Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $20.00
Purchased At:Local store
Strengths:Fast, Longlasting, God traction
Weaknesses:The Sidewall is weak, A bit heavy
Bottom Line:This tire is great for amateures who don't really need a recing tire but still wants to ride fast. The tire works in principally any type of terain, though the grip ain't to good in mud.

Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $1.00
Purchased At:with my working bike
Strengths:runs ok and fast. squeals quite nicely on asphalt:)
Its important to let peaple know, Im coming in my job:)
long last
Weaknesses:slippery ´when raining, eaven on the asphalt, concrete, especially medieval old-town streets with paved surface.
Similar Products Used:Goodyear Lucky Sone street tires
Bike Setup:cro mo frame and tough parts shimano xt
Bottom Line:
I recommend not to useis tire front, especially when you drive fast in any conditions, like rain, it does not grip well at all, especially when street is little dirty.

use maxxis wormdrive in front, it is much better.

Date Reviewed: July 18, 1999
Favorite Trail:
Viinikka-Hervanta
Duration Product Used:
1 Year
Strengths:
+ Low rolling resistance
+ Light
Weaknesses:
- Slippery on wet grass
- Slippery on ice
Similar Products Used:
Nokian Mount&City
Bike Setup:
Dynamics aluminium hardtail, Marzocchi Bomber Z-2 Bam, G-Shok, Mavic rims, LX hubs
Bottom Line:This is a MTB compatible tire, but it is not meant to soft or muddy terrains. However it works very well on road and city conditions. Rolling resistance on asphalt or any smooth surface is in a road race class. Before you buy this product, think what kind of a biker you are. If you ride mostly on roads, this may fit your bike well. For my use this has proved to be a good tire. For that reason I give it full five chilis.
