Strengths: It rolls pretty fastWeaknesses: Terrible cornering and grip. climbed mediocreBottom Line: This tire did not handle well on the corners at all. I felt like I was going to wash out every time I went around a corner. However, it does roll very fast compared to my new tires, I just needed more traction and cornering stability.

Strengths: VERY fast rolling
Light
Good traction (considering small knob size and low rolling resistance).
Weaknesses: Fast wearing
Not a hardcore trail bike tireBottom Line: An extraordinarly XC racing tire. THE fastest rolling mtb tire available (tested by german mtb mag). Despite low rolling resistance, traction is good (not great) in loose/wet conditions, great on hardpack. Not designed as a trailbike tire, but serviccble as one if you want to get a feel for how your race tires react in a variety of conditions.
For racing, I cannot recommend this tire enough. I highly doubt there is another tire with such a good speed/traction ratio. I won my first race several weeks after installing these. Obviously the training was the primary factor, but having such a fast tire sure didn't hurt.
I think this I've finally found my perfect race tire.

Strengths: light, low rolling resistanceWeaknesses: traction is insufficient.Bottom Line: Fundamentally, it is a good tire. However, lukewarm. It is very good on the flat ane dry trails or XC course. However, traction is insufficient in hard climbing(ex. There are many wooden roots). And control is insufficient in steep and ruined descent. It is useful only when condition is good.

Strengths: Light, fast rolling, real knobs.Weaknesses: Skinny (less than 2.0), fast-wearing.Bottom Line: Great race tires. Good on hardpack, decent in mud and loose stuff. Too skinny for agressive riding or trail riding (gets bounced around in rock gardens). Much lower volume than Pythons.
