Strengths:    everything but weight.

Weaknesses:    weight

Bottom Line:
this is a awesome tire, its heavy, but what do you expect, its wire bead, if you're running this on yer xc rig, you might want to got to something 1/2 its weight. i have ran this on the back and front of a xc rig, and it feels slow. but, that being said, i ran this on my fully and love it. i also have the 2.1, 2.3, and 2.6 on different bikes, and for the conditions around here (soft wet clay/loam single track) this is the best tire ive ever used. i am going to put it together with a tubeless sealant setup this season and i assume its going to impress me further.

Date Reviewed: May 20, 2005

Strengths:    Great grip (even for a 2.3) good for XC and downhill.

Weaknesses:    I wish it was alittle wider (but it doesn't matter that much).

Bottom Line:
Awsome tire. I raced in a school crosscountry race and did really well on the up-hill and down hill sections.
