Strengths:    Braking is excellent using the 2.35 as a front tire. Grip on dry rock is second to none. Tire rolls nice in straight line speed.

Weaknesses:    Tire is useless on rocks if wet. The tire washes out easily on corners if pushed into a hard lean.

Bottom Line:
I bought this tire from my local LBS to give it a try. I have been using it for just under 3 months as a front tire in a variety of conditions on a variety of terrain. The tire performs very well in dry conditions as long as it is not pushed too hard into and out of corners. When it gets wet, I had a lot of difficultly with slippage I didn't have with a tire like the Nevegal. I feel there are better tires out there, but for the price it is a pretty good.

Michelin Advanced WildGrip'R or WildRock'R

Has any one used these tires yet? Certain sizes seem to be non-available in the US so I am thinking not a lot of people have ride time on them. They do seem to be available in other parts of the world so maybe some one from across the pond has ridden them.Read More »
