Strengths:    This review is for the 2.3 which is a completely different tire from the 2.1: Great for deep sand or powdery dust. Nice plush ride on cobbled surfaces and shock absorption proportional to its very high volume.

Weaknesses:    Ridiculous under steer on hard pack or loose over surfaces. Need to consciously attend to weighting or it's slip sliding out or away. On the rear it easily loses traction on rock edges due to mini knobs with huge contact area and will spin out. On pavement this is a very slow tire with noticeable rolling resistance. Very heavy compared to SB8 2.1 or even a 2.4 Mutano that actually has knobs.

Bottom Line:
Great tire for riding in deep beach sand, on cobbles or possibly Sierra late season moondust. They literally float over powder instead of sinking in. The tendency to under steer on hard pack actually helps in deep sand. These are a definite niche tire and not a wise choice for all around use.

Strengths:    Riding on asphalt or concrete

Weaknesses:    Riding on dirt or anything that is not perfect traction

Bottom Line:
Horrible on dirt, mud, loam, and loose-over-hard. Feels like you're riding on marbles. Very scary tire.

Strengths:    Great grip, super light. What else is there?

Weaknesses:    They may look funny.

Bottom Line:
These tires are nice and light and haven't had a slip yet. Well i have slipped twice, one time i had weight off rear end, other time it was muddy spot covered with leaves. Neither was fault of tire. These tires don't have all the knobs of many. But i really don't think i should be riding in conditions when i need that many knobs.
