Duration Product Used:

Price Paid:
$33.00
Purchased At:
Cycle Factory
Strengths:
It rolls easily enough and the handling is good enough.
Weaknesses:
Despite several recomendations, it doesn't work as a tubeless. I never had a complete sealed wheel. The sidewalls are just too thin.
Similar Products Used:
Continental Town and Country
Bike Setup:
Scott Aspect 10 - Stock
Bottom Line:
Very average. I like my tubeless wheels and I doubt if I will buy them again, but I rode worst for shorter distances. These kept me going for about 2000Km and when I changed them, I found several thin nails inside. The "stop leak" did its job onthe running surface, but the sidewalls remained fulnarable.

Strengths:
low rolling resistance (downright fast); decent grip and cornering
Weaknesses:
sidewall too thin on folding bead version for freeride (duh); would recommend, no wait, the DH casing is NECESSARY for any DJ/street applications
Similar Products Used:
holy roller, K-rad, yellow kirin, high roller, nevegal
The jumps I ride are in a sand/gravel pit. I was happy with the rolling resistance, grip, and cornering.
However, I purchased the 2.35 folding bead DTC version, and so I slightly tore the sidewall on a botched 180. But then my pressure was a little low for a thin tire and I weigh 220lbs.
If I had the DH casing the tire would still be on my rear wheel, as opposed to the yellow kirin (I live a small isolated town and so product availability is an issue). Rolls like a holy roller/k-rad, but corners surprisingly well on dirt.

Strengths:
Kenda Short Tracker 2.35 folding. True to size. Hi volume. Good pavement traction.
Weaknesses:
Not too punchure proof. I pickup many Goathead thorns where I ride.
Similar Products Used:

Bottom Line:
I like this tire. It works well for bike path and the occasional State Park singletrack. Does not hold mud.

Strengths:
The name of John Tomac behind the product. Kenda as a well known tire producer. Light weight.
Weaknesses:
Not as grippy as I expected, especially on loose surfaces. Lots of rolling resistance.
Similar Products Used:
Schwalbe Racing Ralph 2.25
Bike Setup:

Bottom Line:
Actually I was looking for an XC race tire to replace my Racing Ralph 2.25 which I feel too wide for my bike frame and need (between asphalt and single tracks).
I couldn't find anything around with a reasonable price compare to Panaracer and Michelin, so I decided to pick Kenda Short Tracker 1.9, but to be frankly, I didn't impressed very much.
Rolling resistance is significantly greater then my previous Racing Ralph, I can actually see how the center lugs design on Short Tracker is wider to each other which at the end will result a greater rolling resistance.
The lugs design which even lower then Racing Ralph, make it so unpredictable on loose surface. Anyway, this is my first day's impression on the tire, I will re-submit my reviews after a few more rides.

Strengths:
i recently purchased the 1.9" version for xc racing and riding. i ran them with tubes initially and recently converted them to tubeless using stan's sealant. the short trackers are light, have good grip on hardpack, and shed mud easily. the sidewalls are pretty thin though, so when i put the sealant in, there was leaking through the sides for the first few days until the sealant built up on the insides.
Weaknesses:
durability? especially when running them tubeless.
