I'd avoid it on something really rocky (think slickrock highway at mount snow) as it likes to slide around. I did a few collegiate races on these (one at lehigh where it was nearly 100% mud with very few rocks) and they behaved very well.

It seemed like a perfect tire for the Fall conditions here in the Hudson Valley | | Weaknesses: | I've used it for a few weeks (three times a week rider on dirt always) and the knobs seemed to be wearing quickly.(but they are tall)
Paper thin sidewalls give this tire a limited lifespan. | | Similar Products Used: | Nevegals, Blue Groove,etc... | | Bike Setup: | Hardtail with 120mm fork | | Bottom Line: | I love the traction these tires give and don't mind that the knobs seemed to wear quickly. I figure that was because they are so tall.
After a few (2 or 3) weeks the sidewall was slashed by a rock and now they are trash.
The sidewalls are paper thin and I'm not surprised it was torn so easily.
If Kenda made these tires with some kind of sidewall protection, they'd be awesome tires.
Buy them if you really want some great traction and don't mind replacing them every few weeks, but I need something more durable. | Value Rating:Overall Rating: |
