Strengths:    Smooth rolling, Seems like a nice sidewall.

Weaknesses:    Feels sluggish to me.

Bottom Line:
Very smooth rolling tire but I thought it would roll better especially with the tight center knobs. I don't know if it just feels sluggish because the times that I rode em it had just rained and the trails were a little soft but it didn't seem like it was slowing down anyone else. I do know that once I would get on a harder ground they did seem to roll a lot better. They do grip really well and were confidence inspiring especially in the corners.
I had no problem converting them to Tubeless with Stans

I apologize if this has been addressed in another thread, but I wanted to try here, since I know there a quite a few Trek HT riders in this subsection. Anywho, I need to know if the BBG inner guard will fit on a 2014 Trek X-Caliber frame. I have heard that it is exactly the XC HT frames where th ... Read More »

bbg bashwhich 08 spot 1x9?

Anyone successfully runnin a bbg witch or know if it fits on an 08 5spot? I'm tired of the haggard zip tie chain guide I made and am looking for a bash that can double as a chain guide without breakin the wallet. Mrp 1x is tempting as a chain guide by itself, but i would like a bash as well. If ... Read More »

The One with BBG-style guides instead of a chainguide?

So I'm considering a One for my next build- it sounds like almost exactly like what I am after- an 8" travel bike that still pedals well enough to be used outside of a strict downhill environment. I do have one question for any One owners: Is there anyone using it with a 'bashwhich" style setup i ... Read More »
